Hans Peter Funk Lund was born April 17, 1844 at Arnager, Bornholm, Denmark. He was baptized January 29, 1856 into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Ch. Larson. He was confirmed on February 5, 1856 by Jeppe Folkman. Eventually, he was ordained an Elder and married Bertha Emelia Anderson on June 21, 1869. The marriage was performed by Daniel H. Wells in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had two children, Annie Emelia and Mary Christine.
Annie Amelia was born April 19, 1870 at Plain City, Utah. She was blessed July 7, 1870 by John Carver, Sr. She was baptized July 7, 1879 and confirmed the same day by Thomas H. Smith. She married George William Draney, March 22, 1891. They were sealed together by Niels C. Edlefson in the Logan Temple. She died July 15, 1952 in Plain City, Utah.
Mary Christine was born October 16, 1871 at Plain City, Utah. She was blessed December 1871 by Jens P. Folkman. She died November 30, 1872.
